I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted. The last few weeks before I left for vacation were so hectic, I couldn't get everything done that I wanted. But the best news is, my black hair is gone!
Two and a half years ago I cut all my hair off because back then I did not take care of it. It was so unhealthy, so I decided it was time for a fresh start. My hair was so short, I cried for hours over it! But it had to be done. I wore wigs for several months, until it was long enough for me to style. And even then it was very short!
I still have a while to go until the length is perfect, but I'm finally happy with the color!
My flower garland tutorial is halfway done, please wait a little longer for it~!

EOS Adult Gray Circle Lens Review
Yesterday I received my free pair of lens from Shoppingholics, the EOS Adult Gray Lens.
I was really excited when I saw the picture on the website because they seemed to show up so well, and I had been planning on getting a pair of gray lens.
However, there is a slight problem! I can only wear the right one. Whenever I put the left one in, it constantly moves. Even if I am not blinking, I can feel the contact slide down my eyeball. It hurt so bad I had to take it out right away. I even cleaned it super good and had the same issue when I put it back in. I'm going to let it sit the weekend in solution, and see if it will be any better on Monday.
Other than that issue, I do really like the color, and I don't mind pairing it with my other GEO Bella Blue Lens. And despite this setback, I still plan on buying from Shoppingholics, I just hope it was a manufacture error and it won't happen again!
Time for work, but before I head out, I leave you with a preview for my next tutorial!

Day Trip to Madison
Hello everyone, and thank you to my new followers. It really means a lot to me that you read my blog!
Today my cousin and I drove my boyfriend to Madison so he could do his assessment for his medical study. We had to be there for 7:30 am, which meant waking up at 4 to be out the door by 5. What a rough morning!
But while he was busy, my cousin and I got to go shopping~! This was only my second trip ever to State Street, and I wish I would have brought more money!! I got my hands on a couple of cute items, but I'll definitely be going back to get more.
Hoping to have my new lenses from shoppingholics by the end of the week. Please look forward to my review!

Victorian Maiden Corsage DIY [img heavy]
While browsing Victorian Maiden's official site, I came across this lovely accessory.
I fell in love! The sweet flowers and delicate pearl chains were so appealing, I had to have one! Unfortunately, VM does not ship to America. I've been feeling super crafty these past few days, so I decided to try my hand at my own flower piece.
Attach the larger metal ring to the top of your hairpin, then use pliers to close the loop.
Take your bobby pin and place close to, but not directly in the middle of, your pearl strand.
Use your hot glue gun to glue the medium sized flower to the end of your bobby pin. Since the bobby pin does not have much surface area, I got a little glue on the pearls to help hold the flower in place.
Next, take your small flower and position it next to the medium flower, gluing it to the underside of the petals. Sorry the picture came out so blurry, but I hope you get the idea.
We're almost done! Put glue along the top of your hairpin...
Secure the large flower into said glue, and ta-daaa! You're finished!
This piece can be worn with so many different hairstyles. Here I am wearing it with a simple odango.
What do you think of my first tutorial? I'm really happy with how it turned out, and can't wait to wear it to work for the first time tomorrow~! There are endless creative possibilities you can make with this, I'd love to see what you come up with!
I fell in love! The sweet flowers and delicate pearl chains were so appealing, I had to have one! Unfortunately, VM does not ship to America. I've been feeling super crafty these past few days, so I decided to try my hand at my own flower piece.
You Will Need:
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- pliers
- one large flower
- one medium flower
- one small flower
- one bobby pin
- one hairpin
- string of pearls
First, remove the stems on the back of all the flowers.
You can be creative with how long you choose your pearl strands to be. The total length for both of my strands is 23 inches, which was just a tad too long for me. Since my pearls came from an old necklace, I already had a small metal loop inserted into both ends. I definitely suggest having these because it makes the application much easier.
Next attach both ends of the pearl strand to a larger metal ring,.
Take your bobby pin and place close to, but not directly in the middle of, your pearl strand.
Use your hot glue gun to glue the medium sized flower to the end of your bobby pin. Since the bobby pin does not have much surface area, I got a little glue on the pearls to help hold the flower in place.

GEO Bella Blue Prescription Circle Lens Review
Last week I received my first order from Shoppingholics, a pair of GEO Bella Blue circle lens.
I was nervous ordering circle lens in prescription because I have really terrible eyesight, and on top of that I have astigmatism. I have been wearing these for a week now, and I am happy to say that I can see very well in them!! They are very comfortable, and I can wear them easily for 8+ hours.
In indoor lighting my eyes are noticeably darker and bigger, but the blue does not show very well on my medium brown eyes. It's much easier to see the blue in sunlight, or in bright lights. Everyone at my work noticed right away, and commented on how big and cute they were ^-^
Although these lenses are not specifically for astigmatism, I can see well enough in them that it does not bother me at all. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and am super excited that my bad eyesight won't hold me back form having big cute eyes!

Weekly Haul
Good evening~ I want to share with you my favorite items I got in the last week.
These two dresses are from TJ Maxx. The purple dress was $14.99, and the grey was $16.99. TJ Maxx is sooo nice when you are on a budget like me. We had another blizzard two days ago. I can't wait for the snow to melt and the weather to go back to normal so I can wear these!
This is a jewelery holder that was on clearance at Icing. It was $10, and it has cute gold birdies and leaves on it. I've been too busy to actually put any jewelery on it though.
I ordered circle lenses from shoppingholics about week ago now. I'm soo excited for them to come in, please look forward to my review!

Coco Fashion Review
Good evening! Just last week I received my first item from Coco Fashion. Have you heard of this site? I was surprised by how inexpensive and cute the clothing is! It seemed too good to be true, but I decided to order something.
![]() |
I chose a long grey shirt with an image of a cute rabbit. The price for the shirt is $8.35, and with shipping the entire total was $15.74. I received an email notification letting me know my order was completed on March 15, and they included a tracking number. The link they give you to track your package is not very detailed, I suggest this one instead.
I received my package on April 5. The shirt was just like the picture! The fabric was soft, and seemed to be of good quality.
However, when shopping on the site you need to pay attention to the measurements it gives. All clothing items say they are "free size," which is not entirely the case. Just make sure you are in the range of centimeters it gives before buying something!
There are so many cute items at coco fashion, I can't wait to order more!
